Synopsis: Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.

Thoughts:  Up until recently, I’ve honestly had a problem with this reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.  I thought that the original trilogy was too recent and decent to require a new direction.  As this film started to take shape I began to slowly change my opinion on matters as an impressive cast and look was developing.  Now, with the release of the newest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man I’m a converted fan and anxiously awaiting it’s arrival in July.  I wasn’t a huge fan of Tobey as Peter Parker and see that Andrew Garfield may be a better fit for getting at who Parker is at his core.  The action sequences appear impressive and even with a silly conversion to 3D I feel this one is going to be a slam-dunk home-run.
