Thoughts: How far will they go is the question on the lips of most of Hollywood as Magic Mike swivels its way to theaters this summer. Loosely based on star Channing Tatum’s own ‘humble’ beginnings as a stripper, Magic Mike has been a buzzy project from day one as it nabbed an acclaimed director (Steven Soderbergh) and some of Tinsel Town’s buffest and pined over men (Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello). With any movie that deals with the fine art of the bump and grind you have to wonder if any of these men will be brave enough to bare all for a huge audience. With the film scoring an R rating for, among other things, “graphic nudity” we shall see if the heat of summer will look favorably on the Mike men.
