Thoughts: In this day and age it’s easy to start a hype machine for pretty much anything.  So I always take notices from critics in movie trailers with a little grain of salt.  Where is the preview where a quote that says “It wasn’t what I expected but it was still OK”.  Compliance looks to be a micro-budget morality tale that involves a pretty hard to fathom set-up.  I’ve a feeling that a suspension of disbelief will be a requirement to gain admission into a screening of this – but that doesn’t mean it’s a film I’ll pass up if given the chance.
