Thoughts:  The first trailer for the long-in-the-planning-stages The Lone Ranger has arrived and it’s pretty great.  Reteaming with his Pirates of the Caribbean director, Johnny Depp takes on the controversial role of Tonto opposite Armie Hammer (Mirror Mirror) as our titular hero.  This teaser trailer gives you quite the bang for your buck with glimpses of huge action sequences and a nice approach to the material.  Let’s hope this one is more of a classic western actioner than a Wild Wild West disaster.
