Thoughts:  So here’s a movie that I think is going to come out of nowhere to be a much buzzed about film.  Consider it’s history…released in November 2011 in France it quickly became the second highest grossing French film of all time.  It’s become a cultural phenomenon, being voted the 2011 cultural event of the year in fact.  Want more?  Omar Sy defeated Jean Dujardin (The Artist) to win France’s equivalent of Best Actor at the Cesar Awards.  Even without all these accolades the trailer is a charmer and would easily have gotten me into the theater anyway.  Here’s hoping the buzz is real and The Intouchables touches the US like it did Europe.
