Synopsis: Eight years after Batman took the fall for Two Face’s crimes, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham’s finest and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that brands him an enemy.

Thoughts:  No doubt about it, this is the popular vote for the most anticipated movie of 2012 (though I’m still sticking with June’s Prometheus as my summer event movie).  The third and final chapter of Christopher Nolan’s take on the Batman legacy looks to be pretty dark and elegantly sophisticated.  Nolan has reinvented this franchise in a most superior fashion and it appears as though he is going out with fury.  I’m glad that Bane’ voice has been smoothed out a bit and am more than a little perplexed as to what part Catwoman is going to play but one thing leaves little doubt – count on this one breaking all sorts of records.
