Thoughts: Yikes…another found footage horror film?  Well…before you rush to judgment consider that it’s directed by Oscar winner Barry Levinson.  True, Levinson’s record in recent years has been fairly spotty and he’s never been a really consistent director unless he has strong material to work with (usually his own).  Here he’s working with a first-time screenwriter and a cast of largely unknowns…save for the lovely Kristen Connolly from The Cabin in the Woods.  Will the film be on the same plane as Rain Man or Diner?  Probably not…but here’s hoping Levinson will inject a bit of his Baltimore class to the horror genre.
