Synopsis: Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

Thoughts:  You like ‘em big and dumb?  Have I got a movie for you! When the first film was released in 2010, The Expendables was an anticipated return to form for Sylvester Stallone and his crew of 90’s action star has-beens.  An unexpected hit despite its overall low IQ, a sequel was quickly buzzed about and now is ready to be delivered this August.  Packing in more stars (Welcome back, Arnold!) and editing itself down to a PG-13 should pave the way for an Expendables 3 in another two years.  I may need to wait until this one is released on Blu-Ray so I can watch it with subtitles – hey, when you have actors like Stallone, Van Damme, Lundgren, and Schwarzenegger in your mix you need all the aural help you can get!
